Video Production

The Competitive

Unless your company sells a product that no one else has, chances are that you have competition in the marketplace.

The question is: how are businesses going to stand out?

With video content, your website and social media pages can engage customers and help them to understand why your product or service is the right one for them.

65% of businesses who do not already use video will begin to employ video as a strategy in 2018.  Will your business be one of them?

We can help you determine the type of video that you need to make an impression on your customers.  We have outlined the videos that we create most often below.

Tell Us About Your PROJECT

Do you know what type of video you need?  There are many different options of videos available for businesses that serve different purposes. Here are just a few; click below to explore the types or to get more information on custom options.

Customers buy from businesses who have values similar to their own.  A company overview video not only shows your customers who you are but also what you stand for.

Company overview videos explain your business' purpose, it's passion, and it's products or services by using on-camera interviews with key staff and B-Roll of your business' location.

Also known as case studies, a video case study is your business described in your client's own words.  Your client's voice can have a powerful impact on potential customers who are interested in working with you.  A video case study gives a customer the confidence to contact you, helping them to make a decision without your direct influence.

Video case studies highlight your business' best attributes through on-camera interviews with your existing customer, B-Roll of customers interacting with your business, and a statement of why others should work with you.

"Fantastic company with a focus on delivering quality and creative results at a price you can afford. If you're looking for a new video, look no further.  Give Mike and his team a call"

Ralph Cochrane | The Creative Grid

"Did many videos for us.  The motion graphics video was very creative and professional.  Highly recommend using Parasol Media."

Bill Brown | Paramount Heating / AC

"Mike, at Parasol Media, was instrumental in helping us refine our ideas and present them in a clear and concise video for our website. We are thrilled with the result!"

Brand Spots

While any video for your business is viewed as part of your brand, a commercial or 'spot' is slightly different.  It is typically 15-60 seconds and creates an experience for the viewer.  It should leave your customer interested in exploring your product or service further.

A brand spot shows your product being used, often by a paid actor.  It has a short narrative that helps connect with your customers and ends with a strong call to action.

When it comes to helping customers understand your product or service, there is no better way than an explainer video.  This is the instruction manual for the digital age.  A two-minute video can explain to your customer how your product or service can help them and gives them the confidence to try it.

An explainer video is told in a story format, laying out the current problem from the customer's perspective and then presenting your solution that solves their problem.  It can be told through actors, animation, demonstration or a combination of different techniques.

Events are a great way to share a lot of information in a short space of time.  However, not all of your customers can make it to your event.  Event videos are a great way to share the highlights of your event with your customers to inform them on the key topics and to encourage their attendance at the next event.

An event video typically involves recording the keynote speakers, filming activity around the event, and interviewing attendees and exhibitors to showcase what they thought of the event.

Which one?

Deciding which video is right for your business depends heavily on what your goals are.  We partner with our clients to determine which video fits their needs best.

If you are unsure what video type best fits your business marketing strategy, contact us.

Sometimes a video does not fall into a specific category, so a custom video fits this need best.  A custom video could be a hybrid of the options listed above or it could be something very specialized, such as:

  • a documentary

  • a movie trailer

  • educational / e-School videos

  • screen capture videos

  • tutorial videos

  • webinars

  • vlogs

  • product review videos

  • live streaming

Whatever your needs, we can help you find the right video that will convey your message accurately.
